Newnham Farm is a beautiful 17th century farmhouse with extensive garden, the perfect place to sit and soak in the scenery. The house is nestled in the middle of the 350 acre working farm. Although only 5 minutes by car from the centre of Ryde and the Fishbourne car ferry terminal, guests experience total peace and quiet as the house is surrounded by green fields and ancient woodland.
The area is listed as 'outstanding landscape with ancient woodland and medieval fish ponds.
Relax in your room, wander in the gardens or explore the 40 acres of private woodland. Wild daffodils are in abundance in March, and carpets of bluebells at the end of April.

The Havenstreet Trail passes the farm North to Quarr Abbey or South to Havenstreet and Firestone Copse. Many guests enjoy walking to the acclaimed tearooms at Quarr Abbey and then on for a leisurely lunch at The Fishbourne.
There are many quiet corners in the garden to sit, to read, to dream, to drink a cup or tea or sip a glass of wine and.... relax.
For evening meals we can recommend some very good local pubs that serve excellent food.
